Elena Luppino

"It's that sea inside me that creates strong storms." Thus said Victor Hugo, and thus I want to borrow this phrase to describe my being. I am Elena Luppino, an eighteen year old girl. I'm Elena, it's true, but inside Elena there is a stormy sea, which grabs the days and thins out life's anxieties to draw out the truest cores, and transform them into words on white sheets and scattered notes. Poetry, writing , are for me the means of escape from the fleeting reality that surrounds me, becoming a stable concreteness.
