Luca Benedetti

I was born in Voghera (PV) on 06/12/92. I lived all my childhood and adolescence in Valmadonna (AL), a small town near Alessandria. I grew up with a passion for football like many kids but, when I reached the age of 20, even though I was very good, I lost the passion for that sport. My interests have moved towards a more artistic world such as theatre, cinema, writing. I felt that I had to escape from that reality that no longer belonged to me. In fact, I moved to Milan to start a study path related to acting. I first studied Diction, Dubbing and Voice-over at the Active Theater Center and in the meantime, thanks also to the speech therapist, I managed to cure the flaccid R that has always accompanied me. Afterwards I attended an evening acting course with Michael Rodgers for several years, a Scottish actor and coach and finally I attended the theater school "Grock" for 3 years. Acting also helped me to unblock myself emotionally because I suffered a lot from shyness and anxiety. Thanks to it and to my perseverance and willingness to work on myself, I was able to overcome the difficulties that didn't allow me to live a serene life. In the meantime, I started working in commercials as an actor, short films, video clips and also as a dubber and Speaker in some television projects. In May 2021 I had the pleasure of taking part in my first independent film as Co Protagonist entitled "Finally Libera", directed by Giuseppe di Giorgio. The film was based on the novel "Libera" by Gabriella Morgillo. It was released in cinemas in the summer of 2022 and will be released on Amazon Prime later this year. It's currently available on another digital platform called Chili. Throughout this journey I've also become very passionate about writing. In addition to seeing it as a way to vent, it also helps me express what I'm feeling at the moment. What I write tends to speak of love in the round. Love for life, for oneself, love for others, respect, awareness, maturity, growth and desire to emerge in this world where nothing is given away. In this world where you always have to fight to be able to express your art and creativity. I'm talking about acceptance of reality but at the same time I'm also talking about rebellion and the strength that we human beings should always have to try to make our dreams come true regardless of the rest. The goal of every human being should ultimately be to want to live a full life, with as few regrets as possible, happy and at peace with one's soul.
