About this app

I was born in Castelfranco Veneto on December 18, 1991. Yes yes, exactly one week before Christmas, and it's a great bad luck as a child: birthday presents incorporated into Christmas ones and vice versa, so that everything becomes a huge cauldron in which you can't more to distinguish whether it was you or baby Jesus who was born. Apart from the childhood trauma, this cauldron thing must have stayed with me. I lived for many years at the foot of Monte Grappa: I saw the grandeur of nature and the city, the traffic, the people, especially when I started high school in Bassano del Grappa (yes, the one with the Alpini, the bridge, the grappa and all the rest). My training is also quite a cauldron: I attended the scientific course, however I continued to cultivate a humanistic passion for the word and its literary forms during all five years. And in the end, albeit contaminated by sines, cosines and tangents, this predilection led me to choose Modern Letters. And now, after a couple of degrees and a few months in the nostalgic Welsh landscapes of Cardiff University, I'm a teacher, or at least I try to. I like reading, but above all writing. I like silence, but above all the word. I like to listen, but above all to reflect. I like to observe, but above all to mess things up, like the wind with my hair. I think that sometimes clutter is fascinating. I love leaving, in every sense, but with a touch of nostalgia. I love things that last: sunsets, December, words at the door and desserts. I often love dealing with useless but priceless things: so I walk, I settle thoughts, sometimes I give them shape with watercolors. I like most of all to welcome, without necessarily trying to understand. And I think this is very powerful, and also very feminine. At the moment I try to follow the rhythm of this crazy and extraordinary life. And I'm happy.
