“Rosella” “ la poesia è vita”

Rosella Montesano born in La Spezia, lives in Tuscany, in Grosseto, where she worked as a lawyer for many years. For some time she has chosen to devote herself full time to poetry and art. Event organizer, president of the Musica & Vita Aps is passionately involved in the dissemination of musical culture and art in general, a passion that she shares with her husband the composer Francesco Iannitti Piromallo, in a partnership made of love and life. She has long dedicated herself to writing and to poetry. His texts under the banner of a new romanticism are pervaded by a subtle mysticism and a figurative and imaginative language. In his poems the soul hovers while nature explodes with its colors and its ecstatic landscapes, in search of the deepest meaning and essence of human life. He has participated in numerous competitions receiving prizes and awards: Certificate of Merit with Medal at the 9th Alda Merini prize, 2020 edition for the lyric "Il crying", and medal of honor for the lyric "La calabria" at the 10th edition of the Alda Merini prize 2022, with inclusion in the volume "Poetic voices for Alda" by the academy of the Bronzes, as well as with the inclusion of three of his poems in the Encyclopaedia of contemporary Italian poetry vol. 9 ed. 2018 published by the Mario Luzi foundation.
