Vittoria Larizza

Larizza Vittoria Giuseppa was born in Bova Marina, a small village in Calabria overlooking the Ionian Sea. Since she was a child she has cultivated her passion for writing. On summer evenings with her grandmother Maria, she takes long walks on the beach and is enchanted by watching the waves of the sea lap the beach, dreaming of being on the back of a white horse. In the 70s, now a teenager, she lives the light-heartedness of those years and the dream of galloping by the sea on a white horse does not abandon her. She attends the city schools, meets new places and people, lives her first loves, knows her first defeats but doesn't give up until, on any given day, in an afternoon like any other, she meets a boy who makes her dream. With him, no longer a boy but now a man, he runs along the shores of the sea on the back of his white horse. A great dreamer but aware of the reality that surrounds her, she leads and takes care of all the affections of her life from family to work, finding in them the satisfaction that allows her to wake up every day with a smile and fall asleep dreaming of that white horse running on the seashore.
