Spanish Penal Code (Spanish Penal Code. Organic Law 10/1995, of November 23) - is the main legislative law that defines criminal offenses and their punishment in Spain. Organic Law 10/1995, of November 23, of the Penal Code is the Spanish penal code in force since May 24, 1996. The Code, which takes the form of an organic law, is divided into two books. The first includes general provisions on criminal infractions and sanctions, and the second defines the crimes and dangerous states to which penalties and security measures are attributed, respectively.
