All the 8s Taxis Colchester

Decided to give app a try. Price shown for cash £6.50. When changed to card it changed to between £6.50 & £9.75. Decided best to book over the phone only to be told no availability till the morning as drivers were going home (at 10pm on a Bank Holiday weekend). I pointed out the app was allowing you to book only to be told by the operator the app was a "nightmare" and that had a booked on it she'd have just had to cancel the booking when it came through. Definitely do not use.

Cancelled 2 hours after booking for the evening, second time I've used the app and second time they've cancelled. Needs a feature which tells you there is none available rather than confirming so you assume you have a taxi and then cancelling hours later so you can't get where you need to be.

Wouldn't waste your phone battery or data to download this app, they always cancel the taxi if booked via the app. Its a bloody useless app as real times aren't being used 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ When they call to cancel the booking its usually a quite abrupt and unhelpful woman, I'd even go as far as to say she comes across rude! Avoid them!
