Gin Rummy is a fun, competitive and quick to learn card game, but it will take time to master. Are you ready to take it on?

Quickfire Rules:
A hand is made up of 10 cards. The aim is to combine cards into melds in order to achieve Gin or to have the lowest deadwood score at the end of a hand. A player wins a hand either by having Gin, or by having the lowest deadwood score when someone knocks. Face cards are worth 10 points and all other cards are worth their value.

I really enjoy this gin rummy app. It took me a little while to start consistently beating the hard AI, but now I find it a little too easy and predictable. It tends to knock rather than go for gin, so if you hold low cards you can almost always undercut. My requests for the developer are: 1. ability to add a friend and play them online, and 2. new AIs that are more difficult and play different strategies.

A nearly perfect presentation of Gin Rummy. It can be improved. I play Hollywood Gin and it seems that the AI always knocks immediately when the Deadwood score is 10 or less. However, there are times when it is better not to knock, and instead wait for Gin or Big Gin (for example, with a Deadwood score of 0, 1, or 2 when deep in the round). I take advantage of this when I'm playing, and therefore it seems like I win more often than I should. Yes, the AI could be smarter!

Game is meh. The best feature is having an option on how the ads are delivered. I selected the banner ads and had no interruptions. Problem is in the game's coding, makes playing the AI unbelievable. Medium level and the AI knocks within two draws. Gins within three. Picks up every card you lay down and drops every card you need after the fact. Draw pile is almost useless. Feels like player has no real chance at actually playing but just riding the coding out. Shame. Uninstalling because no fun.
