Navkar Mantra-Siddhagiri Dhun

"Siddhagiri Na Shikharo Bole" is a song on Navkar Mantra & is the most important mantra in Jainism and can be recited at any time. This mantra is also called Namaskär or Namokär Mantra.

णमो अरिहंताणं - I bow to the Arihants, the Conquerors.
णमो सिद्धाणं - I bow to the Siddhas, the Liberated ones.
णमो आयरियाणं - I bow to the Acharyas, the Preceptors.
णमो उवज्झायाणं - I bow to the Upadhyays, the Teachers.
णमो लोए सव्व साहूणं - I bow to all the Sages of the world.
एसोपंचणमोक्कारो, सव्वपावप्पणासणो - This five-fold salutation (mantra) completely destroys all the sins.
मंगला णं च सव्वेसिं, पडमम हवई मंगलं - And, of all auspicious mantras, (it) is indeed the foremost auspicious one.

The lyrics of this auspicious tune attempt to glorify the significance of the holy Navkar Mantra in Jainism. Through repeated and attentive listening, our faith and belief in the power of the Navkar and the Jain religion can be enhanced.

This mantra is regarded as THE most Auspicious mantras amongst all and it is widely believed that by actively chanting this mantra, one can overcome all of his or her sins and achieve the ultimate goal of attaining purification.
