Spanish Civil Code (Spanish Civil Code. Decree of July 24, 1889) - is a unitary, systematized and ordered set of legal norms on Private Law. Therefore, it is a legal text that regulates civil relations between people (both physical and legal). The Spanish Civil Code that regulates the rights and obligations between people came into force (the corrected version) by the Royal Decree of July 24, 1889 and has great importance in our legal system. This code has been modified several times.
