Dec 1, 2020 UPDATES: There are two versions of the USCIS tests (128-question version and 100-question version). The version you will be tested on during the civics test will depend on your N-400 filing date (BEFORE Dec 1, 2020, you will take the 100-question version; ON or AFTER Dec 1, 2020, you will take the 128-question version).

For those taking the 128-question version:
The actual civics test is NOT a multiple choice test, but it is an oral interview. During the interview, a USCIS officer will verbally ask you up to 20 questions from the list of 128 questions in English. You need to answer 12 out of the 20 questions correctly to pass the civics test.

For those taking the 100-question version:
The actual civics test is NOT a multiple choice test, but it is an oral interview. During the interview, a USCIS officer will verbally ask you up to 10 questions from the list of 100 questions in English. You need to answer 6 out of the 10 questions correctly to pass the civics test.

Our Android app is designed to include both versions. It will help you improve your oral and listening skills if English isn’t your first language. Many users have passed their tests using our app, and you will too! Good luck!

This prepared me for the interview, and I passed it! The best way for me to study was using the index cards as you have to memorize the answers of 100 questions. There were a few that understandably didn't have an exact answer in the cards as those depend on the state you live in. However, on the interview and review modes, the app does have those answers related to your state; although, they only have multiple choice questions. Ads are there, but they hardly interrupt one's study. Great app!

5 Stars great tool to practice, you have the option to do multiple choice but also option without seeing the answer which is from my understanding the actual way, during the interview you need to know that answer and you do not have the multiple choice option, you actually need to know the answer. Ads are distracting but I was able to work around it

This app helped me pass my US citizenship test. I used the flashcards the most. I like how you can "star" certain questions you want to focus on. I had someone help me study by reading me the questions. However, when studying alone, I think this app could be better if there was an option to listen to the questions without the answers being said straight away.
