About this app

Ducati Connect is the perfect companion for the Multistrada V4 S, Multistrada V4 S Sport, Multistrada V4 Grand Tour, Multistrada V4 Rally, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and Multistrada V4 RS.

After pairing, Ducati Connect will wirelessly establish a connection with your bike and enable smartphone mirroring.

With Ducati Connect you may:

• Search your contacts or type a phone number using the keypad;

• Play your favourite music by scrolling through folders, artists, albums and playlists;

• Get directions with the Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps app installed on your smartphone.

All easily accessed from the Multistrada dashboard without ever taking your hands off the handlebars!

Notes:

• Ducati Connect is compatible only with the Multistrada V4 S, Multistrada V4 S Sport, Multistrada V4 Grand Tour, Multistrada V4 Rally, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and Multistrada V4 RS.

• The "Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps" has to be separately installed on your smartphone to enable the navigation functions on your Multistrada dashboard. The Premium navigation license will be activated free of charge following the first connection.

I have a 2022 Multistrada V4 S. This app and the Sygic GPS app work but are far from ideal. It doesn't play many music formats, and keeping the screen on is a pain in the ×××. I might just buy a handlebar mount for my S21 Ultra and use Waze. Update Feb 2024: This app with Sygic now works fine for navigation and music. But it only plays mp3 and m4a music files, so I had to move the wma songs to a different folder. App now works fine.

I can not wrap my head around how an app with so much potential can come up so short. When navigation works its actually not bad, but why limit to just one navigation app, it would be great to have waze or Google maps as an option. I keep reading that the bike comes with premium Sygic navigation but mine keeps telling me to upgrade to premium. No one stores music in mp3 files anymore the days of Napster and lime wire are long gone, so why is spotify, pandora, any other music app not an option.

We would like to inform you that with the new Multistrada V4 S and V4 S Sport, Ducati includes a free Sygic premium license linked to the bike's VIN, which will be automatically activated when the phone is connected to the bike via Ducati Connect. Honestly, even 1 Star is still too much. Ducati should definitely stick with building bikes and not try to program Apps. I ride a V4 Pikes peak and if I place my phone in the compartment it overheats within minutes. Keeping it in the jacket and you might end up that the screen is pressed and therefore the Navigation stops. Talking about Navigation, Sygic is by far the worst navigation app I ever had to use. It literally finds nothing. Not even Café's that are at the same location for many years
