Company is great. 5 stars! But the app is absolutely terrible. The audiobook functionality is so bad it essentially ruins the book. Constant crashes only to start back up at a random position long passed. You definitely can't use your phone for anything else while a book is playing or it will malfunction So, don't judge the company by the app, but also don't waste your money on audiobooks until they address the major limitations of the app.

I love the club but the app sucks! Every time I open it, it says Oops! Looks like something went wrong start over. No matter what tab I'm trying to open in the app it says the same thing. I literally cannot do anything from the app and must use the website. Now as far as BOTM the books are a good selection of genres. It isn't the best selection but I can usually find something I like. If I don't I can skip it and not get charged for that month but if I don't skip it I get charged but use later

I use the app mainly to manage my subscription, ie: picking my books and add-ons. After the latest update, the app will not launch and my phone gives me an error message saying there's a bug. I do not love their audiobook player. You don't have a lot of different speed options, and it cannot run in the background. When it works, it's fine and convenient to manage my subscription. Don't see the need for it for much else, honestly.
