About this app

*Note: In-app purchase in this app still got bugs, pls do not purchase first until further notice. Thanks.

This app consists of six different prayer wheels. The six wheels are as follows:-
1. Chenrezig (Kuanyin) Wheel
2. Green Tara Wheel
3. Bhaisajyaguru (Medicine Buddha) Wheel
4. Manjushri (Wenshu Pusa) Wheel
5. Kurukulla (Red Tara) Wheel
6. Dzambhala (God of Wealth) Wheel

Since it is just a virtual prayer wheel, it definitely doesn't consists of mantras inside, hahaha !!! But with the prayer music, it still got some effect. Download now and carry it in your pocket wherever you go. Twirl the wheel whenever you need to invoke blessings or help from Buddhas.

In Buddhism, a prayer wheel is of a hollow metal cylinder, often beautifully embossed, mounted on a rod handle and containing a tightly wound scroll printed with a mantra. Prayer wheels come in many sizes: they may be small, attached to a stick, and spun around by hand, medium-sized and set up at monasteries or temples, or very large and continuously spun by a wind or water mill.

Prayer wheels are used primarily by the Buddhists of Tibet and Nepal, where hand-held prayer wheels are carried by pilgrims and other devotees and turned during devotional activities.

According to Tibetan Buddhist belief, spinning a prayer wheel is just as effective as reciting the sacred texts aloud. This belief derives from the Buddhist belief in the power of sound and the formulas to which deities are subject. For many Buddhists, the prayer wheel also represents the Wheel of the Law (or Dharma) set in motion by the Buddha. (Extracted from: http://www.religionfacts.com/prayer-wheel)

I wrote the original app (mani wheel) this seems to be based on (but I have since moved away from Android app writing and the original hasn't been updated for years and is no longer in the app store). It was GPLed so I'm happy to see that you have brought it up to date and added more prayer wheels skins (though really there should still be a link to the source code etc.), but it would be even better if you could add back in the handheld prayer wheels from the original. Many merits to you!

I want to play the sound when app is already in minimized mode. Is there any function for it?
