An easy-to-use app with good UI. Pain Point: When retroactively adding data on low Fodmap diet, all my stool info & pics got deleted. Wish you could switch to a Month view for certain symptoms & edit multiple days. Wish the Low Fodmap setting was more sophisticated (it's a y/n check, should correspond to the stage you are in - elimination, reintroduction, etc, & which FODMAP reintroduced, & quantities). They show analysis on BMs but not on food (on the free plan anyway.)

This app has everything I needed, food, bowel movements and symptoms tracking, and you can easily add custom food/symptoms, which makes it easily customizable depending on your needs. I really like the self experiments and analysis sections too, great tools to improve your wellbeing. The only thing I think it's missing would be a data export in order to share your diary with a doctor/nutritionist

It's a program to collect your data. You can input data very easily, but you can't glean any information from it online. A food diary, for example is quite useless if you can't download it or make sense of the graphs. The same with symptoms etc. And the outcome didn't make sense. For example it told me my trigger foods were basil and granola. I only ate these foods one or two times, and yet I had serious digestive issues daily. I highly doubt one basil pasta will make me ill for months on end.

Hi Dan,
Sorry to hear this. We haven't exposed a data export feature yet, but we're working on it now! We'd be happy to send your data to you now, just email us at hello@bigdieta.com. Regarding analysis, it's only good as the data you provide it. If your data is sparse (gaps) or short, the analysis will be shallow. Longer data = better analysis.
