About this game

The Silver app lets you play 2 player games of Silver and Silver Bullet (the card games from Bezier Games, Inc.) against a computer AI. Learn the ins and outs of the game, and practice before taking on your friends!

Your goal in Silver is simple: have the lowest sum by the end of four rounds. To accomplish this, use abilities from the cards you draw, and from cards that are already face up in your village, which consists of five cards. You can trade in matching cards, and also trade out your cards for ones you draw to make matches or to lower your score. End a round early if you think you have the lowest sum by calling for a vote; if you’re right, you score 0 points, and get to use the Silver Amulet of Protection or the Silver Bullet the next round. If you're wrong, though you get the sum of your cards plus ten points!

The app walks you through the game, and the comprehensive Help screen gives you all the details you need to be able to play. While you’re playing, view detailed card abilities just by tapping and holding on them.

Great free, offline, turn-based game. It's a copy of a real board game, worth buying. DEVELOPERS: It still has bugs: if you get to peak at your own card (i.e. Empathy), and then try do something else (e.g. pickup from deck) before turning your card back down, then it freezes, and you have to start over. Id also like the feature to mix and match decks, and would be open to paying to buy more decks. But firstly please fix the bugs.

Overall the game itself is a blast to play. Unfortunately, most of that doesn't appear in the app. The AI is atrocious, making more mistakes than anyone I've played with (eg: trading a revealed lower card for a higher card that matches one of their others... in the turn after I've already called for a vote. Additionally, the game is lacking in several key features - the ability to play with another human, the ability to play with more than two players, and the ability to play with Bullet cards

Once I figured out the game, I had fun (and started winning repeatedly), but the UI is not completely intuitive (many times I clicked "end turn" instead of "Exchange cards" and some "select AI cards" didn't show that cards were selected). The lack of a play through tutorial makes this a much harder learn than it should be. Needs: tutorial playthrough, reminder when clicking "end turn" if no cards were exchanged (on/off in settings for this feature), more AI, and consistent selection animation.
