Excellent app to reinforce opening repotoire... Only recommendation I have is to somehow visibly show where the user has entered multiple moves in the same transformations. Oftentimes, a different move order causes identical positions on the board. It would be nice to see where one move order caused me to react one way and a differnt set of move orders incorrectly caused me to alter my logic for some reason. Having said this...the app is well thought out.

This app allows to enter multiple variations, but ONLY for the opponent's moves. While this is fine, what if you don't always want to play the same variation? That's especially relevant if you want to play lesser known variations. There's no good workaround to deal with this issue. I also feel like the UI and user experience could be improved in some areas, especially when "drawing" on the board. Summary: Great app to learn openings ONLY IF you always play the same (the best) variation.

This is the best app I have ever used. Very intuitive and with all the settings and features that matter and was searching for and could not find elsewhere. Tried the opening training tools of all known sites and none had some basic features that I wanted. Most of their settings were around spaced repetition leaving very little else for you to setup according to your needs. Was so frustrated that I even thought of building my own training tool (I am a developer after all) but couldn’t quite believe that no one else had done something close to what I wanted. Therefore, I searched deeper for one last time and I came to this. That might explain why to my eyes looks like an oasis in a desert and why I am so enthusiastic about it. Few of the things that I like: 1) It is very intuitive and every feature is perfectly explained. You don’t need to be one of its developers in order to demystify what some of its settings exactly do (unlike other tools). 2) It has both full coverage and spaced repetition, together with stats, which you can erase after some time and try from scratch. Exactly what I wanted, since you want to cover all your lines and after learning them, the best way to test your knowledge is to reset the stats and see how close to 100% you can get. Full coverage is a must, instantly comprehensible stats and ability to reset them are a must as well. 3) You can either play all moves or start after a predefined number of moves. This is also very helpful, because sometimes it is cumbersome to play all moves from start, but other times might be confusing to start from let us say move 6, without having played the previous moves. This setting is a must also. 4) The move browser is nice, giving you a quick look to all opponent’s moves. 5) Every screen has a tone of features and information perfectly arranged in such a small space that looks like a design miracle. 6) Importing and managing your openings works well and effortlessly.
