Flex splits your monthly rent into two payments, helping you pay rent on time, improve cash flow, and build your credit history — so you can breathe easier every month.

Each month, you pay part of your total rent up front and the rest later in the month, when it works best for you. We help pay your rent in full to your property.

Flex charges a monthly membership* fee of $14.99. A bill payment fee of 1% of your total rent is also charged (additional card processing fee applies when using a credit card).

*Flex services are offered as a monthly membership with a recurring fee of $14.99, which includes access to a Flex line of credit from Blue Ridge Bank, N.A., Member FDIC or Lead Bank, at 0% APR. An application and approval are required. A bill payment fee of 1% of your total rent is also charged when you pay your rent using Flex (additional card processing fee applies when using a credit card). Membership is subject to credit approval, and individual credit line amounts vary based on eligibility (graphics are illustrative only). Active membership requires timely payments each month and will automatically renew until canceled. Flex may report payment history to TransUnion, and late or missed payments may be reflected on credit reports. Terms and conditions apply.

This program is decent enough so long as you are sure you can make your payments on time, and that you will never change your phone number. It is tied to one number and getting a second one on the account is practically impossible and there is basically no tech support or take backsies if you hit the wrong button. There is a 2-3 day delay before the auto pay actually shows as pending on your account and my bank deprioritizes the charge, I prefer to hit the button myself.

I'm not rating higher than this. For starters, it's great to split my rent payments, I'll give it that. The main issue is that it won't let you put in your rent manually, even if it's already posted. It's not updating it at all this morning, and I have other bills to pay! Secondly, you can't contact an actual person at all and their chat bot is useless. The only way you can contact a real person is by email and that barely helps. I can't even update my phone number in the app!

I've been using Flex for years and it was great until this month. Now all of a sudden I had to relink my property and not only that, but there's this weird self reporting thing? Instead of doing what theyve done before and just set up an auto pay with a bank account with the property, they're making me use a flex debit card, which I have to preload with money first to activate it!? On top of that, Flex charged the entirely wrong amount. About $200 more than what it should have been. :(
