Audio studio "Ardis" brings to your attention the first part of the novel-trilogy by Alexei Tolstoy "Walking through the torments" performed by Dmitry Bykov. The novel, later published under the title "Sisters", was written by the author during the years of emigration and published in a magazine version in Paris in 1920-21, and then separately - in Berlin in 1922. Arriving in the Soviet Union, a country with a different ideology, Tolstoy significantly revised the book.
The first edition of the novel was included in the audio edition, and it ends with a lecture by Dm. Bykov about what he read.
