The Afrostory app has improved greatly with recent updates, and now offers a variety of over 100 books, consisting both of local African literature, short stories and classic novels. The accessibility, user interface and readaloud functions work smoothly as well as place holders in books downloaded in the library. The addition of news services and an encyclopedia richen the experience. The app runs in a fluid manner, with access to an impressive amount of literary works and local creators.

An app dedicated to showcasing and defining primarily African literary work though with a good selection of quality non African titles.Easy and affordable access to a wide range of users.Keep up the good work. Hey Afrostory team, There has been a problem downloading new titles, none have been added to the app library too lately, this has gone on for a few months.Hoping you can address the issue as soon as you can.

Thanks for noticing, Ted. The problem with the new books was fixed and only affected 3 books. Now there are another 3 books added :). And they work just fine..

Oops! Didn't intend to send this to everyone. First time I tried, haven't found any instructions yet. Books in the Public Domain, some rarely found, some same-ol' same-ol's. What do you think, anyway?

Thanks for your feedback. We have put a lot of thought into the free collection, which for example is primarily African or Black-Authored, has something for every taste and age group, and has a lot of English novels for South African public sector school students. There are also discounted audiobooks available in the app, also with an African focus
