About this app

The Word of God translated into the Anyuak language spoken in Southern Sudan, Jonglei state: Akobo and Pochalla counties. The language is also called: Anuak, Anywa, Anywaa, Anywak, Dha Anywak, Dho Anywaa, Jambo, Nuro, dho-Anywaa. Autonym: Dha Anywaa.
If you press the little ā€œanā€ icon on the top right you can change the windows on the screen: Now choose either
- ā€œsingle paneā€ if you want to see the Anuak only
- "two panes" to display the Anuak at the top and the English (or Arabic, or Swahili, or Luo) version at the bottom
- "verse by verse" to display a verse in Anuak followed by the same verse in English (or/and Arabic, or/and Swahili, or /and Luo)

ā€¢ Bookmark and highlight your favourite verses
ā€¢ When you tap on a verse, an image button is shown on the bottom toolbar. When this button is pressed, the ā€™Edit imageā€™ screen appears. You can choose the background image, move the text around the image, change the font, text size, alignment, format and colour. The finished image can be saved to the device and shared with others.

ā€¢ Search for words in your Bible.
ā€¢ Swipe to navigate chapters
ā€¢ Night Mode for reading during when dark (good for your eyes)
ā€¢ Click and share Bible verses with your friends via Whatsapp, Facebook, E-mail, SMS etc.
ā€¢ No additional font installation required. (renders complex scripts well.)

It is a nice app ever. It will be better if Amharic is added for Ethiopian readers, next to Arabic, Luo, Swahili and English. We deadly need a full version of Anyuak Bible app very soon.

This is a timely release considering the proliferation and use preference of mobile devices among the Anywaa youth. I cannot wait to see the complete Bible .Kudos to Scriptura Sola.
