I've had this app for a few weeks now. It still says that I haven't done any driving. I'm really not sure what I would have to do to get it to log a drive. Update: after trying everything on the troubleshooting page, I called American Family for help. To their credit, they were helpful. The problem was that my phone needed to be connected to the *while driving*. I usually disable data to save money. After I turned it on, the app recorded a drive without issue.

How do you detect my driving while I'm walking in a building at work ¬ driving. Multiple times this happens and not to me but my wife as well. Then, you penalize me for using my phone and hard breaking while my phone is in my pocket. I understand that nothing is perfect, however, if you are going to use such things for our purpose for a discount, it should be a little more consistent. I Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it so maybe, it might help. Please keep trying to make it better 🙏. TY

Much much worse functionality than the app that this, regretfully, replaced. Interface does not deliver clear picture of individual trips versus overall score. Very confusing to use two separate names for the same app without any apparent useful reason "My AmFam Drive" and "Drive My Way". UI designed by a committee of amateurs. Even my AmFam agent says that "Not a fan of this app". This app will needlessly drive auto insurance business away from American Family.
