About this app

Introduction to Geomorphology App is a free Indonesian book application about questions, answers and the theory of Optical Mineralogy. Optical minerals are a branch of geology that studies the minerals contained in a rock. Optical minerals discuss the minerals in rocks in the form of monomineral. One of the goals of studying optical minerals is to find out how to determine the optical properties of minerals, as well as to recognize minerals microscopically.

Mineralogy or pelican science is the earth science that focuses on the chemical properties, crystal structure, and physics (including optics) of minerals. This study also covers the initial process of mineral formation and alteration.

Initially, mineralogy focused more on the classification system for rock-forming minerals. The International Mineralogical Association is an organization whose members are organizations that represent mineralogists from each country. Activities include managing mineral names (through the New Minerals and Mineral Names Commission), known mineral locations, etc. Until 2004 there were more than 4000 mineral species recognized by the IMA. Of these, 150 can be classified as "general", the other 50 "occasional", and the rest "rare" to "very rare"

In recent times, due to the development of experimental techniques (such as neutron defraction) and existing computational capabilities, which have allowed very accurate simulations of atomic-scale crystal behavior, the science has expanded to include more general problems in the fields of inorganic chemistry and solid physics. Nonetheless, this field remains focused on the crystalline structures commonly found in rock-forming minerals (such as perovskites, clay minerals and silicate skeletons). In particular, the field has made progress regarding the structural relationships of minerals and their uses; in nature, a notable example is the accuracy of calculating and estimating the elastic properties of minerals, which have opened up deep knowledge of the seismic behavior of rocks and the misalignments associated with depth in the seismiograms of the Earth's mantle. Thus, in terms of the relationship between atomic-scale phenomena and macro-properties, the science of minerals (as is generally known today) may have more to do with materials science than any other science.

Studying Optical Mineralogy is essential for geology students and all majors, practitioners of geological science and other professions who wish to study Optical Mineralogy theory. It will provide you with strategic examples and explanations of basic questions and answers around Optical Mineralogy. This App App will also provide you with the most common & useful chapters. So that this collection of Optical Mineralogy theory books can be taken anywhere, studied anytime and of course can be accessed offline.
