FITescola

Directed at this stage to Secondary School Teachers, the FITescola® app is the instrument provided by the Directorate-General for Education, in partnership with the Faculty of Human Motricity at the University of Lisbon, to enable the recording of the results of the different physical fitness tests of each student in a national database.

With the objective of educating and stimulating the student population towards a more active lifestyle, this app developed by Altice Labs combines innovation with the future of Education and has as its essential pillars the monitoring and counseling of students.

Main features:

- Simple registration of individual or group activities -
For the Teacher, the biggest advantage of the FITescola® app lies in the fact that it allows an immediate recording of the results of each student, even when the activities are carried out in groups. This allows the Teacher to do all the registration in the classroom, without having to duplicate work when registering online after classes.

- Evaluation planning -
Each school defines which tests are to be carried out in the different school years. Pre-selecting the tests that will be performed in each class allows the Teacher to see only the data that matters in each context and get a quick sense of the tests that are yet to be done in each class.

- Timing of evaluation moments -
Planning may include defining the dates on which the Teacher expects to carry out the tests, for greater organization and for receiving notifications that will help, for example, to reserve the materials and spaces necessary to carry out the tests.

- Communication and integration of results at national level -
In terms of public health, the great added value of the FITescola® app lies in the fact that it enables more online records of Portuguese students' data and, thus, contributes to the massification of this initiative that aims to promote sport and improve the quality of life. population life!
