Remote Control for Xfinity box

Cannot even properly try the app to see if it works, as there's an ad being thrown at you after *every* other tap; so much so that you're not sure if it fails to work only because everytime to try to get (metaphorically) from point A to point C, you get interrupted and can't go through the whole thing in one go, ever. Quite frustrating, actually. It'd be an entirely different experience if you could get, at least, the first hour or so ad-free so as to evaluate if the app suits your setup or not.

Easy setup. Looks great, BUT if your phone doesn't have IR transmitter hardware don't bother. The app description should mention that.

Can't use it --every other click bring up another ad. Need IR and my phone doesn't have one.
