Only works with an internet connection, which renders the tracking part of this app almost useless to me, as I frequently work out of cell service. Downloaded a separate, more functional tracker, where you can use the timer offline, edit the times if you forget to pause it, and sync/backup your data when you are back in service. Also, the smile tracker makes you zoom awkwardly close to your face at an odd angle (at least on samsung).

Honestly, this app is terrible. None of the features work. I enabled alerts when I got the app. I have checked that notifications are allowed under my phone settings. No alerts at all. Not for putting aligners back in. Not for swapping to the next set. Not for taking photos. Baffling, the unlabeled play button icon means you have taken the aligners out, while the unlabeled pause button means that you have put them back in. Trash interface, trash functionality.

If I had known this app was part of the treatment I would not have chosen Invisalign. The main purpose of the app is to take photos of your teeth with the aligners in, which means using the gizmo to separate your lips and then hoping your phone is aimed right because you can't see the screen. It's a giant hassle and I decided it wasn't worth it. I just change them every week on Thursday. So far my dentist has not complained about not receiving photos.
