Surah Al-Baqarah is the longest surah of the Qur’an, its verses are 286, and it is ranked second in the Qur’an after Surat Al-Fatihah. It was said that it was the first surah revealed in Medina, except for the Almighty’s saying: And fear a day in which you will be returned to God. Then every soul will be paid in full what it has earned, and they will not be disturbed.
