خالد ابن الوليد

Abu Suleiman Khalid bin Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah Al-Makhzoumi Al-Qurashi, a companion and a Muslim military commander. He was famous for his genius military planning and his skill in leading the Muslim armies in the wars of apostasy and the conquest of Iraq and the Levant, during the era of the two successors of the Messenger, Abu Bakr and Umar.
