One of them discusses Zuhud Against the World

'Be ascetic towards the world, Allah will love you. Be ascetic towards what humans have, surely you will be loved by them." (Narrated by Ibn Majah. Ibn Hajar said in Bulughul Maram, his isnad is hasan)

The meaning of zuhud is turning the desire for something to something better than it.

Zuhud towards the world is not by forbidding what is lawful and not by throwing away wealth. But zuhud towards the world is that you have more faith and trust in what is in Allah's hands than in what is in your hands. Also you behave the same, whether or not a disaster befalls you, and in your view, other people are the same, whether they praise you or criticize you because of the truth.

Zuhud level

First,

Someone who is zuhud towards the world, but he actually wants it. His heart leaned toward him, his soul turned toward him, but he tried to prevent it. This is mutazahhid (people who try to be ascetic).

Second,

Someone leaves the world - in order to obey Allah Ta'ala - because he sees it as something despicable, when compared to what he wants to achieve. This person is well aware that he is zuhud, although he also takes it into account. The situation at this level is like giving up one dirham to get two dirhams.

Third,

Someone who is zuhud towards the world in order to obey Allah and he is zuhud in his zuhud. This means that he saw himself not leaving anything. The situation is like a person who throws out trash and then picks up pearls. Another parable is that of a man who wanted to enter the king's palace, but was stopped by a dog at the gate. Then he threw a piece of bread to trick the dog. And he went in to meet the king.

Thus, satan is a dog that barks at the gate to Allah Ta'ala, preventing humans from entering it. Even though the door was open, her hijab was revealed. This world is like a loaf of bread. Who threw it in order to succeed in reaching the glory of the King, how could he still count it
