About this app

GISManager Augmented Reality is an application based on accurate GPS and helps field technicians to see underground infrastructure based on current location by displaying GIS spatial layers and additional optional technical information from asset management systems.

The innovative application enables on-field workers to locate infrastructure faster, gain better spatial awareness and perform on-field work safer, by delivering real-time information on the spot, when needed. By utilizing AR/MR technology, the interpretation and visualization of spatial and asset data from backend systems is provided with centimeter accuracy.

The value of GISmanager module:
- On-field GIS data visualization
- Faster infrastructure discovery
- Quicker infrastructure locate and identification
- Improve reliability and quality of GIS data
- Tool to report GIS data accuracy
- Better and quicker maintenance
- Better situational awareness
- Reduced risk of network damage
- Reduced costs
- Timesaving (not printing analog maps or back-office preparation)

The goal of using augmented reality to visualize spatial data in the field is better and faster maintenance, as GISManager allows field workers to visualize hidden infrastructure in real time in case of snow, rain, or other disruptive factors. At the same time, safety at work is increased, as workers in the field spend less time in dangerous locations, such as roads, intersections, etc.
