The book "Classical Religious Writing Traditions: Revealing the Harmony of Text and Context" is a collection of articles written by classical manuscript researchers from various institutions in various regions of Indonesia.

In this book, nine articles are summarized that attempt to introduce various aspects of local wisdom and the nation's intellectual property contained in classical texts. These articles are divided into three major topics, namely medicine and healing traditions, family mental resilience and community behavior, as well as searching and preserving classical manuscripts.

The topics contained in this classic text contain issues that are still relevant to today's life. However, this issue is currently little known to people who are not involved in classical texts, and their contents are even less understood. In fact, the content (text) contained in this classical manuscript can be actualized and applied to improve the welfare of society.

Therefore, the publication of this book is an effort to disseminate the contents of ancient manuscripts so that they can be used in various contexts of social welfare.

In connection with the above, there are three articles on the topic of medicines and healing traditions. The first article was written by Badi Sudardi. This article discusses healthy concepts and healing traditions in Javanese culture. This article discusses Serat Munasiat Jati, a fiber which contains teachings about Sufism extracted from the teachings of kings, Sunan and teachers in Java.

This manuscript contains a compilation of knowledge. One of the issues discussed in Serat Munasiat Jati is health issues and instructions for maintaining health related to the goals of inner life. Some of the treatments and healing traditions contained in this article are still relevant in society.

The second article related to the topic of medicines and healing traditions was written by Lalu Muhammad Ariadi. This article discusses medical texts in Lombok regarding historical and sociological aspects. This article discusses treatment texts which, among other things, are found in the Usada Rara Manuscript.

This text is in the form of a sequence of medicinal plants in the forest, accompanied by various unique medicinal techniques and a discussion of forest management. In this article, it is explained that records of medical texts, after the arrival of Islam, were maintained and enriched in the form of traditions and rituals for maintaining and managing forests based on Islamic rules.
