About this app

This Android application is an explanation of Creative Writing Tips and Strategies for Writing Short Stories and Novels by A.S. Like. In Pdf format.

Here's the ad I'm offering you before we talk any further about creative writing. It goes like this: Do you want to develop your creativity? Keep your hands close to your brain.

Among other body parts, the hands are the body tools that are most closely related to the creativity of the contents of our heads. Our brains design things, and our hands do it, except maybe soccer players, sepak takraw, or other soccer players. But off the field, the kickers still do what's on their minds with their hands too.

A farmer thinks about how best to cultivate his land, and it is his hands that make what he thinks come true. The hand gripped the handle of the hoe and swung it. It is the hands that loosen the soil and sprinkle the tinder so that the hard soil becomes fertile. It is the hand that pours water onto the plant in the pot.

A hunter, of any era, sets out from home with the mind of obtaining the most satisfying quarry. It is his hand that stretches the bow, releases an arrow, or shoots a bullet at the target. If you are hungry, you think about eating immediately, and it is your hand that feeds rice to your mouth.

Therefore, give your hands the opportunity to do what they really like. Don't let him become unemployed, poor him. If you really want to write, give your hand a pen, give it the opportunity to press the keys of your typewriter or computer keyboard, let it collaborate with your brain.

A writer - I can't remember his name - stated something like this: "Write whatever is on your mind, and everything that is going on in your mind will find a way out." When we write, he says, “our hands do things and, as the brain's best friend, it knows how to make what's on our minds come true.”

If you are not a writer, or do not want to work as a writer, keep writing. Familiarize your hands with your brain. Because, what your hand writes is the first step that will make what is in your head come true. Albert Einstein, the scientist whose name is best known throughout the twentieth century, we never knew as a writer. But throughout his life he wrote no less than two thousand papers.

And by writing it he expressed all the possibilities which then gave birth to his great theories. Another person, Muhammad Ali, the most impressive heavyweight boxer, also always wrote and recited poetry that he composed to mock his potential opponents before matches. Usually he predicts, in a humorous way, in what round his opponent will be knocked down.
