The book entitled "Realist Design Techniques and Color Arrangement" is well done. The art of design is an inseparable part of the history of human civilization. This can be proven by the existence of hand-painted art and hunted creatures in historical caves spread throughout the world.

Classical, contemporary and even abstract painting is the result of many creative elements at work in producing a work of art. In painting we have to pay attention to several important aspects such as the type of brush used, the technique of using the brush, the lighting of the object being drawn, and the perspective of the image. Apart from that, one thing that should not be missed in the painting process is choosing the color composition. Composition is a strategy used by painters to place the right perspective on an object.

There are several things that must be considered when using color, such as harmonious and contrasting color combinations, using colors in a heraldic, pure and naturalistic way. A good color composition will produce a good image.

This book is divided into 5 chapters where each chapter will explain in detail about realist design techniques and color management. Chapter 1 covers a basic understanding of drawing, such as value and composition and includes various tools that can be used for drawing.

Chapter 2 discusses proportions in realist drawing starting from the meaning and characteristics of realism itself, good image composition, and also techniques for drawing realistic faces. Chapter 3 contains the concepts of color and lighting, starting with an understanding of color theory, color schemes and brush stroke techniques in order to produce more realistic images.

Chapter 4 contains an understanding of drawing more structural figures and portraits to create successful paintings. After understanding how to draw figures and portraits, in chapter 5 we will explain how to draw landscapes using different perspective techniques.
