This tiny book contains issues regarding women's blood, menstrual blood, postpartum blood, wiladat blood and istihadlat blood. Therefore, we have named this book, "Risalatul Mahidl, Problems of Women's Blood, Menstruation, Nifas and Istihadlat," using Latin and Indonesian writing by taking references from Salaf books of the Syafi'i school of thought which are up to date and well known in Indonesian Islamic boarding schools. This. This writing was also motivated by the needs of women, especially those who do not understand pegon Arabic writing and old Javanese, which are no longer taught in schools or madrasas.

Apart from that, following the request of some of our loyal friends who are teaching at the women's taklim assembly, especially those who teach menstruation, postpartum, wiladat and istihadlat issues. Apart from that, we consider this writing necessary and a shared responsibility in overcoming the shortcomings felt by women, and at the same time as a contribution to their development and progress.

We see how important religious knowledge is, especially the issue of women's blood, as stated by Shaykh Ibrahim al-Bajuri in his book:

"That it is obligatory for a woman to recite something that is required from the laws of menstruation, childbirth and istihadlat. If the husband is smart, then he is obliged to teach his wife, and if the husband is not smart, then it is permissible, even obligatory, for his wife to leave the house to ask the ulama. And it is haram for a husband who forbids his wife to leave his house for this purpose, unless the husband asks a scholar and then teaches his wife these laws." (Hasyiyah Al-Bajuri: 1/1134).

This book can be useful for every friend who wants to read and understand the benefits of this world and the benefits in the afterlife. And this book was made as a Jariyah charity whose rewards will continue to flow throughout time.
