THE COMPLEXITY of life's problems today has led to anxiety and anxiety among many writers. Likewise, we, the authors of this book, have the same anxiety, which has been buried for a long time.

We release the deposits of anxiety in installments little by little through various means. Some are in the form of loose papers for class discussions or seminars, some are in the form of scribbles while delivering lectures and attending lectures, some are also in the form of articles on the alamtara.co page, which coincidentally, we, the authors of this book, took part in developing.

Coincidentally, we were both active in the literacy and thought movement facilitated by Uma Kalikuma, which is a gathering place for restless young thinkers in the cities of Mataram and Bima (two cultural centers in NTB). At Kalikuma, we run a discussion series every weekend with various themes, and the results are in the form of articles or papers that we collect under a heading called "Kalikuma Papers."

Both of us were also involved in lectures on Mysticism and Religious Movements taught by Dr. Abdul Wahid, in which case Hendrawangsyah was involved as an assistant in charge of recording lecture points. After college, these points are usually brought up in follow-up discussions at Uma Kalikuma, then we write down certain points in more detail. Some of the writings in this book were born.

Another part of the writing in this book is the result of author Hendrawangsyah's reflections while attending lectures on Philosophy of Science and Study Approaches in Islamic Studies, Psychology of Religion, Sociological Theories of Religion, and Tafsir of the Koran and Hadith, respectively under the guidance of Dr. Alim Roswantoro and Prof. Syafa'atun Almirzanah, Prof. Sekar Ayu Aryani, Dr. Nia Widya, and Prof. Abdul Mustaqim.

Furthermore, several other articles are the result of reflections during the routine study in the Perjumpan School community which was supervised by (the late) Husni Muadz, Ph.D.


Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
