The desire to marry is human nature. Both for men and women. The desire to get married begins to emerge when humans reach adolescence. The marriage process is necessary to give birth to offspring. Humans marry with the aim of producing offspring, just as plants mate (fertilize) to produce fruit.

Marriage also aims to stem human lust so that it is channeled to places that are permitted by Allah SWT. In this way, humans are saved from adultery and rape, namely satisfying their desires like animals. Islam comes to provide guidance so that marriage or marriage is carried out in accordance with a guided humanitarian process.

God's Word: And if you are afraid of being unfair then marry two, three or four women who are good for you, but if you cannot be fair then just one is enough. (An Nisa': 3).

The Word of Allah means: And do not marry women whom your fathers have married except what happened (before Islam) (An Nisa': 22).

The guidance given by Allah is quite humane. How come? The freedom to marry with respect is given to a good woman, but not all women can be married. A mother, for example, certainly cannot marry her child. A child mating with its own mother is an animal behavior or behavior.
