About this app

This Android application is an explanation of the book entitled The Wayfarer's Guide to the Life of the Believer Series. In Pdf format.

Everyone who wants to travel or travel with a goal required by Islam, such as traveling because of seeking knowledge, carrying out a religious business, visiting family or acquaintances, looking for halal sustenance to meet the needs of their family, then they are classified as people who take a journey that approved by Allah or considered worshiping Allah SWT.

The Messenger of Allah said, which means: "Whoever travels in search of knowledge, then he is on the journey of Allah until he returns."

For people who travel for purposes like those mentioned above, there are several conditions or rules that must be followed. If this is forgotten or abandoned, it will no longer be considered as taking a journey that is approved by Allah.

A traveler needs to equip himself with two important provisions throughout his journey. Provisions for physical needs and provisions for internal needs. Birth provisions are the usual basic needs such as food, drink, transportation, a place to rest and so on. Meanwhile, inner provision is knowledge as a guide in matters of worship, including the following:

1. Purify. A traveler is permitted to perform tayammum if it is difficult to get water or if there is water but only enough for his drinking supply.

2. Prayer. A traveler is allowed to pray plural prayers and qasar (i.e. collecting and shortening prayers), as a 'gift' from Allah for certain prayers (i.e. Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Ishaak prayers). This is a concession or facility given to people who are on pilgrimage. Meanwhile circumcision prayers can only be performed in vehicles.

3. Fasting. In the month of Ramadan, a traveler is allowed to break his fast.

In this small book, God willing, the problems mentioned above will be explained easily and concisely. Hopefully it can be of benefit to anyone who will travel, whether inside or outside the country.
