Efforts to describe the situation of the Islamic boarding school environment and students' understanding of reproductive health will be reviewed in the 50th edition of Swara Rahima's supplement entitled "Santri Are also Teenagers", written by Mawardi, Rahima program staff. This article is presented as a form of report to the public on research conducted by Rahima's team regarding Reproductive Health and Sexuality in the Lives of 1000 Adolescent Santri in Jombang, Kediri, Lamongan and Banyuwangi Regencies.

The findings of this research do not only look at how personal hygiene is in the daily lives of the students. However, it also reviews their understanding of reproductive health (kespro) and sexuality, as well as practices related to reproductive health issues that are developing among the santri, the exchange of information between the kalong santri who commute every day from the Islamic boarding school to their respective families' homes and the mukim students, who not only study every day but also board or live in an Islamic boarding school.

The rapid flow of information means that students are also affected by the impact of globalization of information. They are not a closed community who never interact with the outside world, but are also dynamic teenagers who are not only influenced by television shows but are also familiar with various social media such as email, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and so on. At least, during their school holidays. can access it.

In addition, although Islamic boarding school policies often limit the use of cellular telephones (cell phones) and information technology such as access to the internet and other communication devices, in some Islamic boarding schools the internet has become part of their lives and has become a medium and source of teaching and learning.
