In the midst of a fast-paced and instantaneous life, in its various aspects, we often get carried away and drift along in its currents, drifting far away and losing our grip. We give too much consumption to the physical (material aspect) rather than spiritual consumption (non-material aspect). We are too diligent in pursuing material physical satisfaction, with material objects that never satisfy even though we have obtained them, but ignore or even forget about spiritual satisfaction, by taking a break from worldly activities to get closer to Allah.

We are not actually prohibited from pursuing worldly material things. However, we are only encouraged to make worldly material things a way for us to get closer to God and at the same time share with others. We are even encouraged to seek worldly material things so that we can live independently and not be a burden on other people. However, what we need to pay attention to is not to let that become our orientation or goal in life, so that we forget the true goal.

Life is for work, but work must be meaningful. Work without meaning will only drag and drown us in the fulfillment of desires that never stop or end.

On this basis, we strive to publish and present to readers quality books from the treasures of Islamic Sufism, as highly nutritious food for the spiritual. These books are masterpieces from classical scholars who are known as ascetic, wara, pious, pious, abid, and spiritual/spiritual teachers who have opened the way to Allah and enlightened our spiritual side to live a better and more meaningful life.

Among these books is the book Nuzhah al- Majalis wa Muntakhab an-Naff@'is by Shaykh Abdurrahman bin Abdussalam ash-Shafuri asy-Syafi'i, or better known as Shaykh ash-Shafuri, the great scholar of Sufism in the 19th century. -9 H. This book, which consists of two volumes, contains important material from Islamic teachings covered in Sufism nuances, from creeds, worship, manners and morals, to examples from prophets, friends and inspiring pious people. The author not only reviews normatively based on the arguments from al-Guran and hadith, but also the words and deeds of pious scholars plus stories full of meaning and wisdom that soothe our souls.

We translated the book and published it into four books based on the main themes, namely faith, worship, manners and morals, as well as examples of prophets and pious people. We have set aside some of the material in it, this does not mean that it is not important, but simply for the sake of simplification.


Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
