This story happened when I was in the third grade of high school. A friend invited me to study outside of school. The study was attended by several teenagers. While taking part in the study, my heart felt like it was constantly shaking. There are feelings of emotion, longing, anxiety, but the feeling of calm is more dominant.

The study touches on the importance of a woman covering her private parts completely. I, who in fact already wear a hijab and take part in ROHIS activities at school, actually am not yet fully veiled. When I go to the market or when I travel outside the house, I still don't cover my intimate parts. I only wear a hijab to school, because it prevents me from getting too hot and protects me from sunburn.

My soul felt shaken when I took part in the study, which previously I had also asked a lot of questions and discussed with friends who had been wearing the hijab correctly from the start. He explained what his activities were like outside the house. Even though she is next to the house, she still wears the hijab. I was shocked, feeling strange, amazed but also amazed.

How is it possible, in the midst of hot and sultry weather conditions, he still remains determined to cover his private parts? He also lent me Islamic magazines for teenagers. At that time, what was popular among teenagers was Annida magazine. I like reading these magazines, they contain a lot of wisdom and lessons that I can learn. Especially about covering the private parts. Finally, armed with a gift of a white t-shirt hijab from a friend, I had the courage to wear the hijab in everyday life.

At that time, wearing the hijab in everyday life was still very strange. The majority of them still wear the hijab only at certain recitation events. And as a result, my parents and older siblings also opposed the decision to wear the hijab. That was their reason at that time. Later it will limit my activities, I won't be able to go fast and so on.
