A quite famous story in the course of Sultan Abdul Hamid II's reign was when he refused the request of the founding figure of the Zionist state of Israel, Theodore Hertzl, that the sultan give part of his territory in Palestine to the Jews.

This request was flatly rejected by Sultan Abdul Hamid II, thus angering the Jewish people. In fact, the promise of plentiful material endeavors would be given to him by Hertzl, if he was willing to provide land for Jewish settlement. The sultan firmly refused, and said, "As long as I am alive, I will not allow anyone to seize the lands of the Muslims!"

Hertzl was unable to persuade the sultan, so he and other Zionist figures were extremely disappointed. Therefore, in various ways, through their accomplices in Turkey, especially those with Dunamah/Donemeh Jewish blood, they continued to try to overthrow the sultan's power. Dunamah Jews are those who show their Islam, have the name Islam, but in reality they are of Jewish blood and Jews. An example of a dunamah Jew is the father of Turkish secularism, Musthafa Kamal Attaturk.

Sultan Abdul Hamid II also continues to be swayed by activists of the secret organization Freemasonry, who have infiltrated the ranks of liberal revolutionary youth and called themselves the "Young Turks Mouement" movement. The Freemasonry group which continues to try to thwart the leadership of Sultan Abdul Hamid II is also part of the organization "Al-ittihad um At-Taraqqi/ Ittihad dc Terakki" (Organization of Unity and Progress). They carry the mission of secularism and abolishing the Islamic caliphate.

It could be said that at that time Sultan Abdul Hamid II ruled amidst a siege by Jewish groups, Freemason members and liberal-secular activists. They tried to overthrow him in various ways, so that Turkey with its Islamic civilization then collapsed and became a very secular country.

Another interesting story in this book is when the sultan rejected the tricks of the British, who submitted a proposal to excavate ancient objects in Ottoman territories. However, it turned out that the excavation of ancient objects was just a cover, because the British actually wanted to dredge oil mines. Because of this, the sultan was extremely angry and withdrew the cooperation project.
