This Android application is an explanation of reading, a receptive language skill by Muhsyanur, S.Pd., M.Pd. In Pdf format.

Reading is not just the ability to recognize letter forms, word order and sentence structure. However, there are special skills to harmonize various aspects of language as well as between knowledge and understanding or theory and application. This book, entitled Reading (A Receptive Language Skill), was written in an effort to meet demands to add to the literature on reading theory.

Apart from that, this book is structured based on two main objectives. Firstly, as a supplement to lecture material and to increase student competency standards in reading courses as a development subject, especially for Indonesian Language or Indonesian Language and Literature Education majors and secondly, as a guide for anyone who wants to deepen and improve their reading skills both theoretically and application wise.

On this occasion the author would like to express his thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. H. Imran Ismail, M.S. and Dr. H. Muhammad Basir, M.Pd. for all the motivation given to the author in the fields of academics, education, service and other forms of motivation.

The author hopes that this book can contribute and help students to further improve their scientific insight, especially developing their reading skills both in theory and application. And to Allah swt. The author always asks for surrender, hopefully it will be worth the blessing of worship.


Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
