The book entitled "Religious Research Methodology Based on 4 Pillars of Scientific Philosophy" has been completed and published. By presenting this book to readers, it is hoped that it will add to the existing literature on religious research methodology with discussions that are oriented towards a particular scientific philosophical basis.

Of course, it is not easy to translate scientific philosophy which is a paradigm for the integration of certain sciences into various scientific fields of study. However, efforts must still be made so that the studies and writings produced are a form of implementation of this scientific philosophy. This is what the author attempted by writing this book.

The content of this book contains a number of methodological discussions related to the study of religion using the 4 pillars of scientific philosophy as its basis. The four pillars are dynamic integration, integration of Islam and nationality, locally based and global in outlook. The presentation of the first pillar regarding dynamic integration in this book leads to discussions about religious studies with an integrative approach, whether through a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary or even transdisciplinary approach.

The explanation of the second to fourth pillars leads to a discussion regarding the object of study or scope of religious research which is in line with the pillars of scientific philosophy. In this section several alternative targets for religious research are offered for study. Researchers can develop their own specific study objects that are relevant to the scientific philosophy in question based on their own ijtihad.

Apart from that, usually in methodological literature, this book is also equipped with a discussion of a number of approaches and methods that can be applied in researching religion, whether the object is doctrinal or factual-empirical.

Some of the methods and approaches described in this book can be an initial guide for novice researchers who do not yet have sufficient research knowledge and experience. Of course, novice readers or researchers who wish to obtain more in-depth information can complement their reading with other research methodology literature because this book is prepared more practically and concisely and does not present a more extensive and detailed discussion.

Despite its various shortcomings, it is hoped that this book will help novice readers and researchers to conduct religious research. Especially those who want to study religion using certain integrative approaches, both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary. Various scientific combinations can be mixed by researchers themselves in accordance with the knowledge integration paradigm existing in the scientific philosophy of their higher education institutions.
