This Android application is an explanation of the method for determining and accurate Qibla direction for mosques in Tulungagung by Ahmad Susannif, M.H.I. In Pdf format.

This research describes the Qibla direction and accuracy of the Qibla direction of mosques in Tulungagung Regency, East Java. The objects in this research were 10 mosques in Tulungagung Regency, spread across several sub-districts, including Kedungwaru, Boyolangu, Sumbergempol and Ngunut sub-districts.

Determining the Qibla direction of these mosques was of course carried out by their founders decades ago. However, in this modern era, and supported by various methods and technological sophistication, reviewing the Qibla direction of these mosques is certainly a necessity. This is none other than because in reality, there are several mosques in Tulungagung Regency whose Qibla direction is not appropriate and points to the proper Qibla.

Because this research is included in field research regarding methods for determining and accuracy of Qibla direction, the data sources in this research include primary and secondary data sources. The methods used to collect data are interviews, observation and documentation. This researcher made observations by re-measuring the Qibla direction of 10 mosques in Tulungagung to compare the accuracy of each measurement in each mosque.

Several tools are used to measure it, such as bencet or miqyas, istiwa stick, rubu' mujayyab, compass, theodolite, and others. Meanwhile, the analysis used is descriptive-comparative analysis.

This research was funded by DIPA IAIN Tulunggaung in 2014. The research and preparation process could not be separated from encouragement and assistance from certain parties.
