As usual, if there is nothing to do, on Sunday morning I extend my sleep time. But, that Sunday, just before six in the morning the phone rang. After hastily introducing himself, the person on the phone said he was walking in the trunk of a plane elephant, ready to fly to Surabaya specifically to meet me. With some grumbling, I extended my sleep for a while, then reluctantly resorted to taking a shower. As soon as I finished showering and getting dressed, the phone rang again. It turned out that the person who called from Jakarta was already standing in front of the house, accompanied by a motorbike taxi driver.

As soon as he met me, this person said he deliberately took a motorbike taxi so he could speed, afraid that I might rush away. No wonder, I thought, both this person and the motorbike taxi driver looked breathless after speeding. I also think, fortunately they were not caught by the traffic police, if they were caught, they would definitely be chased, arrested, and would have to go to court and be fined. The conversation continued with brief pleasantries, finally this person opened the card.

This is the beginning of the story to answer the question, why has Olenka's novel been out of circulation for so long? And indeed, this novel would no longer be in circulation, if Noura Publisher had not encouraged it to undertake republishing. Finally, here it is, Olenka's novel is back in circulation. Without the encouragement of Noura Publishers, this novel would still not be in circulation, and for that reason, through this short foreword I express my gratitude to Noura Publishers, and, of course, to the readers.
