For some people, fishing is as simple as placing bait, throwing the hook, then waiting for the fish to get caught. Not surprisingly, there is a general view that fishing is a lazy activity. In fact, fishing is a universal activity. In the past, fishing was aimed at food needs and survival.

Nowadays, fishing is a hobby, passion, and even a lifestyle that is fun and relaxing for those who practice it because the process is relaxed and carefree. Therefore, as the title suggests, this book also uses the term fishing, which seems more relaxed and universal than fishing.

This book is an autoethnography of the author as an angler and cartoonist, who shares his knowledge about fishing techniques from traditional ones such as ngurek, ngotrek, ngegarong, to modern casting techniques. Not only information about fishing techniques, fun, unique and humorous stories in the world of fishing are also provided in this book based on the author's experience, from around the family, such as being scolded by his wife for fishing, myths from the world of fishing, mystical experiences when fishing, mutual cooperation. cooperation between fishing communities, to the author's mission to remove the stigma that anglers are lazy, everything is told through stories and sketches.
