What is a Website?

Before we look further at the stages in building a website, we will first understand what a website itself is. If simplified, a website can be interpreted as a collection of web pages that are connected incorrectly and then put online using a local network or the internet.

Websites can be grouped into several groups based on their purpose, size and characteristics of the website itself.

Types of Websites Based on Their Nature:

1. Dynamic Website, is a website whose content can change at any time. Examples of these dynamic websites include Wikipedia, Mypangandaran, Abatasa, detik, Tokobagus and Biog. The main factor that makes a website dynamic is the Content Management System. With this CMS, anyone who has access to the website administrator can update the content very easily.

2. Static Website, is a website that is rarely changed because changes are not needed very often. Examples are company profile websites and organization profile websites.

Apart from characteristics, usually types of websites are also differentiated based on their main function.
