This book not only tells the experience of the procedures for carrying out the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, but also tells about the early history of the development of Islam in Mecca and Medina which then spread throughout the world. The locations which are now the places where the pillars of the Hajj and Umrah are carried out, even though they are described briefly in this book, we can understand the historical events universally and deeply.

What is even more urgent is that the author turns out to be very sensitive in recording the changes that occur in Saudi Arabia every time he performs the Hajj and Umrah. This is clearly revealed in the book which consists of eight parts contained in it. Because of the eight times H. Harun Keuchik Leumiek performed the Hajj and Umrah (3 Hajj and 5 Umrah pilgrimages) he always compared the changing conditions that occurred in the cities of Mecca and Medina in detail, clearly and regularly in accordance with current developments.

The experience of performing the first Hajj pilgrimage in 1979 compared to that of performing the second Hajj pilgrimage in 1990, in that 10 year period it turns out that the situation in Saudi Arabia has changed very much from what was first seen when performing the Hajj pilgrimage in 1979. And almost all aspects of the changes seen author that occurred in Saudi Arabia, both changes in the development of the cities of Mecca and Medina as well as changes in the places and means of carrying out the pillars of the Hajj are clearly recorded in this book.

Harun Keuchik Leumiek to be very appropriate and important to have not only by Muslims who want and will carry out the Hajj and Umrah, but also by all Muslims in order to foster encouragement, motivation and ideals. to be able to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam by reading this book which contains very deep spiritual meaning.
