Khalid bin Walid once cried when one day he touched a copy of the Koran. During this time he rarely had time to touch the Koran; read and sprinkle it.

He cried because he felt he was so far away from the Koran, he had never read it with pleasure.

How far we are compared to Khalid who was busy fighting in the way of Allah, but he was sad because he didn't have many opportunities to read the Koran. Khalid is still noble because of his struggle in the path of Allah.

As we know, he was nicknamed 'The Unsheathed Sword of God'. Victory after victory in every war has been achieved. His busyness in fighting took up so much time. Khalid is even a friend who has memorized the Koran the least. But he was still noble because he was busy in the way of Allah.

so, how about us? Have we cried when we didn't have time to read the Koran because of worldly busyness that drowns us?

There's something we have to think about. Today we are very busy with various matters. Finishing one task followed by another. It's endless. It takes up so much time that we no longer have time to recite the Koran.

There's something we have to think about. The Koran is the most beautiful gift from Allah tabarakallahu wa tabla to us, but sometimes we waste it. The Qur'an is a love letter from Allah to us, so that those of us who read, memorize, reflect on and practice it, will receive His mercy and love. The Qur'an is a guide to life. However, some Muslims do not yet understand the meaning of the revelation of the Koran.

Every day we seek happiness. But we couldn't find it, because we forgot that apparently in the book Al-Qutan Karim, happiness is stored. How dusty is the copy of the Koran in our house?
