Prescription science is the study of how to prepare medicines into a certain form until they are ready to be used as medicine. There is an opinion that this science contains a little art, so it can be said that prescription science is a science that studies the art of compounding medicines (art of drug compounding), especially aimed at serving prescriptions from doctors.

The provision of medicines here means the collection, introduction, preservation and standardization of medicinal ingredients.
